Terms of service

Snatch Magazine is an independent publication run by Sophia Mitropoulos. These terms apply to this store and to everything on it. Placing an order means you agree to them.

Who can order

You need to be at least 18, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order.

Orders and pricing

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. I can refuse or cancel any order, including after it is placed and paid for. If that happens, you get a full refund.

I try to keep prices, product descriptions, and availability accurate, but mistakes happen. If something is listed at the wrong price or described incorrectly, I may cancel the order and refund you rather than honor the error.

By completing a purchase, you confirm that your shipping and contact information is correct. I am not responsible for delays or losses caused by information entered incorrectly at checkout.

Fulfillment

Most orders are packed and shipped by me. Apparel is made to order and ships from a third party printer. Full details are in the Shipping Policy.

Intellectual property

Everything Snatch publishes and sells is protected by copyright. That covers the magazines, the zines published under Power Snatch, the risograph prints, the photography, the illustration, the design and layout, and the writing and images on this website. Copyright belongs to Sophia Mitropoulos or to the contributors who made the work, and it stays with us.

When you buy something from Snatch, you own that copy. You do not own the work in it. You can read it, hang it, gift it, collage it, or resell your individual copy secondhand. You cannot reproduce it, scan it, photograph it for redistribution, print it, sell reproductions of it, or use it commercially without written permission from me.

Snatch, Snatch Magazine, Power Snatch, and Season Ticket Mail Club are my trademarks. Faire is the only authorized wholesale channel.

Press and editorial coverage is welcome. You can use cover images and short excerpts to write about Snatch, with credit. Email me if you want higher resolution files or anything beyond that.

Reviews and anything else you post

If you leave a product review or submit any other content to the store, you keep ownership of it and you give me permission to display, reproduce, and use it in connection with Snatch, including in marketing. You confirm the content is yours to give and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. I can decline to publish anything, and I may remove anything already published.

No warranties

Products are sold as they are. Beyond the rights described in the Return and Refund Policy, and beyond any rights you have under law that cannot be waived, I make no warranties about the products or this website, express or implied.

Risograph printing produces variation by nature. Registration shift, ink density differences, and light marking are characteristics of the process, not faults.

Limit on liability

My total liability for any order is capped at what you paid for that order. I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

If you break these terms or use anything from Snatch in a way these terms do not allow, and that leads to a claim against me, you agree to cover the resulting costs, including reasonable legal fees.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Queens County, New York, and you agree to that jurisdiction.

Severability

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.

Changes

I can update these terms at any time. Continuing to use the store means you accept the current version.
